Storytelling Night: Bad Ideas, hosted by Glenn North

Join us for an evening of sharing stories in The Salon

Gather at The Salon on Thursday, August 28, 6-8 p.m. alongside Kansas City poet and local legend Glenn North, who will guide an evening of sharing personal stories of “Bad Ideas!” Come ready to share a 5–10-minute story of your own or sit back and listen.

Glenn A. North is an award-winning poet, activist, educator, and arts executive based in Kansas City. He is currently the Director of Inclusive Learning & Creative Impact at the Kansas City Museum. He earned his MFA from the University of Missouri–Kansas City. In addition to presenting his own poetry, Glenn also conducts workshops on ekphrastic poetry, using poetry to address issues of social justice, and self-empowerment for disenfranchised students through reflective poetry.

This event is free, but space is limited and an RSVP is required.
