Young artists can unleash their imagination this fall with a variety of studio art classes offered at the Nerman Museum. Our popular series of classes for children and youth also run in summer, and on Saturdays throughout the academic year.

Younger students can discover their inner artist in our classes for children ages 5 to 7. Older children can enjoy more advanced lessons and skills in our classes for children ages 8 to 11. These art classes cover everything from pop art, sewing, fashion, zines, illuminated art, and more.

In addition, we have a new class for grades 6-9 this fall! Teens can create their own wearable art in “Street Fashion,” where our expert fashion instructor will guide them through sewing, painting and other techniques.

This fun fall lineup allows students to expand their creativity, thinking abilities, and cultural awareness and explore new skills while creating original works of art!
