Young artists can unleash their imagination this summer with a variety of studio art classes offered at the Nerman Museum. Our popular series of classes for children and youth also run during weekends throughout the year and over spring break.

Younger students can discover their inner artist in our Art Explorers classes for children grades 1-3. Older children can enjoy more advanced lessons and skills in our Art Adventures classes for children in grades 4-6. We also offer Art Journeys classes for budding artists in grades 7-9, designed for middle-school level art skills and fun. 

Students are sure to enjoy a creative summer camp experience. Art classes cover everything from painting, architecture, game design, 3D art, and more, and students have the chance to expand their creativity, thinking abilities, global awareness and explore new skills while creating original works of art!

Summer Youth Enrichment Art Classes at the Nerman Museum run from June 1.-July 31, 2026 for grades 1-9.

Our summer art classes are part of a broad range of exciting and creative Youth Summer Programs offered at the JCCC campus for grades 1-12.
