the band Found a Job performing on stage

Join the Midwest Trust Center and the Nerman Museum of Contemporary Art for the 2026 Light Up the Lawn Concert Series. Mark your calendars for August 28 when we welcome Found A Job for some of the best live music Kansas City has to offer.

Go back to the awesome ‘80s with Found a Job – A Tribute to Talking Heads, an eight-piece band that primarily performs music from albums released during Talking Heads' Expanded Heads era ("Remain in Light," "Speaking in Tongues," and "Stop Making Sense").

Formed in 2012, the ensemble also covers radio hits from other eras such as "Road to Nowhere, " "And She Was," "Take me to The River," "Once in a Lifetime," and "Burning Down the House."

Have a “radical” good time with some of the best live music in Kansas City at this FREE concert on the Nerman Museum lawn. Bring your blankets, lawn chairs, and picnic baskets (no alcohol), and get ready for an amazing night! No reservations required.
